After years of navigating throughout the entertainment industry as both a local radio personality and under the watchful eye of both his mentor, music legend Kenny Gamble and entertainment icon, Will Smith, Bilaal has helped to launch several successful jewelry and watch brands. Now, Bilaal Abdul Salaam is set to launch his own brand of diamond fashion watches,

Bilaal began his career as a radio personality with WDAS FM in Philadelphia, PA. This led to him exploring various marketing opportunities with local companies. Kenny Gamble his long time mentor, took notice of Bilaal's ambition and offered him a position as the Vice President of Marketing and Promotions for his legendary music entertainment conglomerate. However, Bilaal had different plans. He had set his sights on Hollywood. When Bilaal reached Hollywood, he contacted his childhood friend, Hollywood megastar, Will Smith who offered Bilaal a position as his personal assistant . Underneath Will Smith's wings, Bilaal traveled the world and honed his business and management skills. After four years working alongside Will Smith, Bilaal left to start his own product placement company. However, things didn't immediately take off. Seemingly, Bilaal was slightly ahead of his time in his efforts to market upscale diamond fashion watches. However, he did not give up. Within the next few years, Bilaal's company H.Y.A.B., landed some of the biggest manufacturers of diamond fashion watches. H.Y.A.B. has been responsible for placing more than $4 million dollars in Diamond Fashion Watches in movies, television shows and directly on the wrist of high profile celebrities. The list reads like a who's who in Hollywood.
